Finding locations for photoshoot

Today in class my partner and I had talked about places we could take pictures of each other for our magazines. We weren't able to settle on just one place. But one location  did come up multiple times, Tatem Ridge Elementary School. This is a location with a large sports field that is near both of our houses allowing for fast and easy travel. We will see how the photos turn out in the future or if we will get more pictures "in the spot," as we continue our sports grind.

USA Today Sports Weekly is a sports magazine that is widely read in the United States. This magazine is very informative and doesn't have as many "fluff pieces" and sports illustrated or ESPN might have. The cover is a lot more minimal. There is a cover photo of an athlete, the article title, and a few subheadings that tell you what's inside. The magazine has a lot of draft analysis's and stat trackers. They use a lot of images and do not over load the read with too much information .

Before we took the field against our school rivals, we were just waiting in the locker room. I took this as a great opportunity to get some more pictures for my product. And as it turns out they were great. So good even others Aice Media Studies students started to do the same for their own projects. I plan on using these pictures for my cover page and my tables of contents.
